How to Import Invoices from Microsoft OneDrive into QuickBooks Online

Before starting to import your transactions to QuickBooks with the help of Business Importer, you need to prepare your Microsoft OneDrive file. In order to do that, follow the steps below.
1. Open the Microsoft OneDrive file you would like to import into your QuickBooks Online company.
2. Go to the Share tab (1) in the File menu and select Share with people (2).
3. Select Get a link (1), click Create link (2) – both edit and view options are applicable.
4. Copy the link you have just generated. Your Microsoft OneDrive file with invoices is ready to be imported into QuickBooks Online.
Steps on how to import Invoices into QuickBooks Online
1. Open Business Importer and click Upload file
2. Select the entry you want to get on QuickBooks end
3. Click Next
4. Paste the link generated by Microsoft OneDrive (1) and press Next(2).
5. Choose the Company Name(1) and double check the Entity selected (2) and map QuickBooks fields (Provides Labels) to the column headings from your One Drive file (Your Labels).Then scroll down and click the Start Import button.
6. Your invoices have been successfully imported into QuickBooks Online!
Click on Invoice ID number to see your Invoice on the QuickBooks side.
Useful tips: tricks to make importing into QuickBooks even faster and smoother
1. If you see the Unknown file store error when trying to import your Microsoft OneDrive file, it means that you haven’t given enough access for our app to read the file. To fix that please disable the Require viewers to sign in with their corporate name account option when generating the link.
